Fraud and scams are a real thing, and we, at Magic Gateway Retreat, LLC, work diligently to prevent this, preserve the quality of our resort, and maintain affordable rates for everyone.

To ensure the security of all our guests and prevent fraudulent bookings, we require a picture ID (valid passport / valid driver's license) of the person making the reservation.

The name on the ID must match the name on the credit card used for payment and the name on the reservation.

The minimum age to book a retreat is 24 years old, and the person who books the reservation is expected to be one of the guests staying at our retreat.

*The electronic photo of your ID photo is kept on retained until your security deposit is returned, and it is then deleted. The only exemption is in the event of damages caused by the renter or guests until the situation is resolved.
